Sizing
These pouch slings are only slightly adjustable. Usually, each person that wears the baby needs to have their own sling. Sometimes, two similarly-built people can wear the same sling.
You will need to measure from the top of the shoulder, across the chest to the top of the hip bone. It is easier to have another person size you. If you are reading your own tape measure, be sure you are not slouched over looking at the bottom of the tape measure. This will result in a too small measurement. Make sure you put your shoulders back and stand tall. You don't want to be slouched over when you measure. Several sizes of sling will fit you. I measure about 24" so I usually wear a 23-25 sized sling.
Some things to consider before you buy a sling.
- How old is your baby or are you still pregnant? If you are in the last few weeks of your pregnancy or have a newborn you may need to drop an inch or so off of your the measurement to compensate for expected weight loss.
- How tall are you? This affects how long the carrier will be on your torso. Very tall people may want to add an inch or two while very short people may need to go smaller.
- If you have broad shoulders or a big bust or if you are dad with a big chest you might fill the carrier up a little more widthwise. People with narrow shoulders may want to lean toward a smaller size.
- If in doubt or if you are borderline between two sizes, order the larger one. It is much easier to make it an inch or two shorter than an inch or two longer.
Sizing Guide - Remember that most woman wear two sizes comfortably.
The most accurate measure is the shoulder to hip measurement.

It is important to get the correct size. If the sling is too short, it will be almost impossible to get your baby/toddler in it and it will be very uncomfortable while it is on. If it is too long, the baby will be bumping into your leg when you walk and they will be lower than your center of gravity.
